Meet Marie
Marie Barth has over 40 years of experience in the real estate business, and co-founded Designated Escrow, Inc. in Lakewood. From 1987 to 2014, with her husband Bruce Barth, Designated Escrow, Inc. has provided Barth with over 29 years of learning the industry.
A resident of Lakewood for over 60 years, Marie Barth, ABR, PMN, currently serves as a member of the Lakewood City Council. Barth began her first four-year term in January 2012 and was re-elected in 2015 for another four-year term. She serves the community with her years of business experience and passion for helping others.
Making a difference in the community
While her focus is on real estate, Barth has also become significantly more involved in the community where she had the opportunity to serve in several roles and positions in a variety of organizations. After spending time serving and working with several community organizations with a minimum commitment of two years each, Barth presently continues to be involved with the Tacoma Association of Realtors and the Women’s Council of Realtors.
In addition to having passion and dedication for her professions, Barth approaches life and business with energy and professionalism. She believes that a caring heart and a strong work ethic are essential to success, as well as demonstrating concern for clients and commitment to helping others.
Barth spends much of her free time with her kids, grandkids, friends and staying involved in the community. Barth also enjoys swimming, boating, theater and motorcycling.
